Hugh Stewart
I visited Hugh in his Woolhara Studio and for a working week we chatted, well hugh chatted and i listened about his amazing and long carear al over the world for decades including shooting Hollywood Royalty in America and for London VOGUE his screen work with Baz Lurhmann up until his lattest project bringing to the masses, the well heeled masses that is of Australia.
As usual I broke it down into a long film and then we did a day of shorts for social featuring his favourite big name shoots. See my instagram for more of them if you like that kind of thing you won’t be disappointed Hugh is a great and very funny story teller which is one of the reasons he is a great portrait artist. Because if you’ve ever dabbled in portraiture you’d realise that making the subject relaxed and being themselves is an esential part of the process.
