Hugh Stewart has got world class chat and it has served him well as a celebrity photographer where he often gets literally minutes to make a a strong enough human connection with a movie star in order to coax an interesting and magazine quality photo out of them.
Hugh’s had a long carear taking portraits of the movie stars and artists for British and American VOGUE for decades. As well as a long collaboration with Australian director Baz Lurhman as on set photographer. I visited Hugh in his studio to talk about his past work and his current surprising carear pivot.
