If you are a professional photographer/ filmmaker or you want to be one then this site is made for you.

I am a freelance photographer/ filmmaker and i have been my whole carear 30 years plus a BA in media studies. The site is making films that i wnt to see, basically i want to investigate craft and innovation.

Basically if the artist isn’t better than me, if I can’t learn from them if I’m not very interested in meeting them and knowing what they do and how then I won’t be featuring them and in that way it’s a curated site.

It’s curated because Youtube is full of free videos but you have to rely on the algorithm to find them.

Youtube is full of self proclaimed experts who are not great photographers or film makers. Most if not all of the featured artists are not makin. this content themselves because they are too busy. You won’t see this type of content anywhere else.

We compile the best, a curated growing library of the best AD FREE at premiun quality [vimeo]

And that’s for the viewers, for the creators we are also battling the algorithm if we team together we can beat the algorithm.

It’s not 5 ways to use a soft box type films, tips and tricks.

It’s not a gear guide.

It’s not any of those subjects and formats that get hits on social media.

It’s a reaction to that, it’s a deep dive

It is unscripted documentary, unscripted because I’m going in to learn and pass those lesson’s on. I feel being unscripted I can be surprised by whta i learn have ahaha moments, like i didn’t think of that!

But it’s not a dry lesson, it’s not a sit down interview masterclass [ i brought the wim wenders masterclass and dispite several attempts and him being full of valuable knowledge i just couldn’t get through it. I want to show the subjects in action, so you can see what they are talking about for real in action.

It’s like being an assistant, which was when i learned best, and meeting the other photos at the lab [hugh’s film.
